THE UPCOMING Crime and Thriller Film “Uninvited” will screen in cinemas nationwide on Dec 25 as part of the 50th Metro Manila Film Festival.
Directed by Dan Villegas, Uninvited will be starring Vilma Santos, Aga Muhlach, Tirso Cruz III, Nadine Lustre, Elijah Canlas, Ron Angeles, Ketchup Eusebio, Mylene Dizon, Lotlot de Leon, and more of its supporting cast.
The film’s plot is about a grieving mother named Lilia seeking revenge for the murder of her daughter Lily. Lilia sets out on a vengeance plan to find the billionaire named Guily, the man responsible for her daughter’s death, by infiltrating a circle of elites and disguising herself under the name ‘Eva’.
Actress Vilma Santos, who plays the lead character Lilia/Eva, shared in a press conference on Dec 14 that this is her first time playing a character that is different from the previous works she has done in her career.
Santos felt proud and expressed her excitement to be working with director Villegas in offering something new and different as well as giving praise to the fellow cast of talented actors she works with.
“Uninvited” will be R-16 and is one of the official entries of the 50th Metro Manila Film Festival along with Topakk and other anticipated Filipino films.
The film is distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, and presented by Mentorque Productions in association with Project 8.
