TWO COMMUNIST NPA Terrorists (CNTs) brought along their firearms when they surrendered to the Eastern Mindanao Command (EastMinCom) during a joint intercession by the 89th Infantry Battalion (89IB) and the 1003rd Infantry Brigade in Bukidnon on Nov. 1.
The military identified the individuals as Ronie Aryon Bagubay and Abaro Puklawan, who were members of the Sub-Regional Committee 5 (SRC5) under the North Central Mindanao Regional Committee (NCMRC).
They surrendered an M4A1 Carbine rifle and a KG9 machine pistol.
The two formally renounced their NPA membership in the presence of Army officials in a simple ceremony arranged by the 89IB and the 1003rd Infantry Brigade at Barangay Kibungcog, San Fernando, Bukidnon,
