PRO XI’s month-long operations lead to arrest of 336 wanted individuals

THE POLICE Regional Office XI reported that law enforcers served 449 arrest warrants in October 2024 alone. 

Acting regional director BGen. Leon Victor Z. Rosete said the operations resulted in the capture of 114 most wanted persons (MWPs), including those in the top ten most wanted persons list, and 222 other fugitives across the Davao Region. 

Notably, many of the wanted individuals have one to three standing warrants.

The arrested fugitives included: 

  • Jegger D. Sugpatan  (Top 1 MWP) for the crime of murder; 
  • Jimmy Dela Cerna Tagolaylay, (Top 2 MWP) for violations of R.A. 7610 (2 counts) and qualified rape (2 counts);  
  • Ruel Londres (Top 4 MWP) for the crime of rape; 
  • Dieg E. Tano (Top 5 MWP) for statutory rape; 
  • Angelito Dela Torre Aguidor, (Top 6 MWP) for the crime of rape; 
  • Ronna R. Reyes, (Top 7 MWP) for violations of Sec. 5 and 11 of R.A. 9165; 
  • Reymart “Kaka” Taya (Top 8 MWP) for violations of R.A. 7610 (2 counts) and sexual assault; 
  • Jhon Dave Lumakang Legaspi, (Top 9 MWP) for violation of R.A. 7610.

“The successful capture of these individuals reflects the region’s dedication to prioritizing the arrest of fugitives who pose the greatest threats to public safety,” the police director said, adding that the operations aligned with the key priorities of PNP Director General Rommel Francisco D. Marbil.

“The apprehension of these wanted individuals is a testament to the hard work, vigilance, and cooperation of our police force and local communities. PRO
XI remains committed to maintaining peace and security, and these arrests are a critical step toward a safer Davao Region,” he added.
