THE BODY of an unidentified man was discovered with multiple stab wounds along the Bypass Road in Barangay Catalunan Pequeño on Monday morning, July 8.
According to authorities, Richard Wendell Toliver, a U.S. national, found the body at approximately 8:20 a.m. and approached Roberto III Pormento Bersabal, a 31-year-old traffic enforcer, for help.
The victim was wearing a sando shirt and brown shorts.
Bersabal immediately contacted 911, and the Baliok Police Station (PS 17) responded to the scene.
Meanwhile, Captain Hazel Tuazon, spokesperson of the Davao City Police Office, said investigators are working to identify the victim and determine the circumstances surrounding his death.
Tuazon asked anyone with information on the incident or the victim’s identity to contact the Davao City Police Office.
