THE SEARCH continues for the killer of a farmer in Barangay Tamugan, Marilog District, on Wednesday night.
Captain Hazel Tuazon, the spokesperson of Davao City Police Office, identified the victim as Roy Amulong, 41, a resident of Sitio Mapawa in Maragusan, Davao De Oro.
His body was only found three days later after he was killed.
According to Tuazon, Amulong had been drinking with a co-worker, Mark Sabuan, 20, from Sitio Pigalungan in Barangay Tamugan, when an argument broke out. Sabuan allegedly attacked Amulong while he was sleeping.
After the incident, Sabuan reportedly buried Amulong on land owned by Ronelo Celez.
Police are investigating the possibility of robbery as a motive, but the investigation is ongoing.
