P-POP girl group BINI successfully finished the first act of their 3-day concert at the New Frontier Theater on June 28.
The highly-anticipated BINIverse: The First Solo Concert was packed with fans on its first day. All shows were sold out in 2 hours or less when it was announced back in April.
The octet, composed of Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena opened with a powerful rendition of their song ‘Na Na Na’ from their debut album “Born to Win.”
The group also endeared fans with solo intermission numbers from each member, covering hit songs such as “Crazy In Love” by Beyonce and “Oo” by Up Dharma Down.
The show ended on a fun note with “Pantropiko,” the song that catapulted the group to stardom. Since their rise, BINI has amassed 7 million listeners on Spotify and is the first and only Filipino act to top the Spotify Philippines chart.
BINI also performed “Cherry On Top,” their latest single to be released on July 11.
Aside from the sold-out concert, the group is set to perform on a regional tour in the cities of Baguio, Cebu, and General Santos in July.
