BRIGADIER General Nicolas D. Torre III, the new Police Regional Office XI director, visited the Davao City Police Office, on June 17, despite the holiday to reinforce the 3-minute response time (3MRT).
General Torre, the architect of the policy while he was the Quezon City Police District commander, previously told reporters that he plans to replicate it across the entire region, with Davao City serving as the initial launch point.
The three-minute response time (3MRT) will become the norm among police personnel as part of crime prevention and solution strategies.
Also, the implementation will expedite the response of authorities, especially during times of crime.
It can be remembered that the said official formally assumed office last Sunday as a replacement for Police Brigadier General Aligre Martinez.
During the assumption of office ceremony, Torre III promised that he would give more attention to the PNP Mission, particularly the improvement of the three-minute response time or 3MRT.
