The students’ education was disrupted due to the presence of 2,000-3,000 policemen inside the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) compound for over two weeks as part of the implementation of the arrest warrant against Pastor Apollo Quiboloy and four co-accused.
On the same day, Sept. 16, the culmination of Buwan ng Wika (Language Month) was held at JMCFI, with several programs prepared for the students.
All police officers deployed to the Kingdom of Jesus Christ compound finally returned to their barracks following the surrender of Quiboloy on Sunday, Sept. 8, ending a 16-day non-stop search.
Police Regional Office XI spokesperson Major Catherine Dela Rey confirmed that no officers remained in the area. Gate 18 of the Kingdom’s entrance and the Emerald gate near Jose Maria College, where tensions often flared between the police and KOJC members, are now closed.
