THE POLICE Regional Office XI arrested 79 fugitives in multiple operations from Nov. 11 to Nov. 17, 2024.
Brig Gen Leon Victor Rosete, acting PRO XI director, said the office successfully served 91 warrants of arrest on five individuals in the top wanted persons’ list (regional/provincial/municipal and station level), 26 most wanted persons (MWP), and 48 other wanted persons (OWP).
He said some individuals had at least two or three standing warrants for multiple crimes.
The five in the top MWP list included the provincial top three fugitive Chelogiemie Santander Ambay who was arrested for violating Sec. 11 and 12 of R.A. 9165.
Rosete said these operations were part of the PRO XI’s intensified campaign to maintain peace and order in Davao Region.
Moreover, Rosete lauded the operating PNP units for their efforts in bringing offenders to justice.
“The relentless dedication and tireless efforts of our personnel in pursuing individuals with outstanding warrants of arrest are crucial to our mission of upholding the rule of law with fairness and impartiality. We assure the public that those responsible for criminal acts will be brought to justice,” he said.
