THE POLICE Regional Office XI, led by acting regional director Brig. Gen. Leon Victor Rosete, served 67 warrants of arrest from Oct. 21 to 27, 2024.
The operations led to the arrest of 11 most wanted persons (MWPs), 50 other wanted persons (OWPs), and six individuals from the top 10 most wanted lists at the provincial and municipal levels.
Among the high-profile arrests was Rubecco Camomot Dura, Jr., a top three fugitive in Davao del Sur, who had a warrant for attempted rape.
Other notable arrests included:
- Alias Nic (Top 1 MWP – Municipal level): Rape
- Alias Lorenz (Top 3 MWP – Municipal level): Rape
- Alias James (Top 1 MWP – Municipal level): Murder
- Alias Richard (Top 2 MWP – Municipal level): Violation of R.A. 8353
- Alias Warren (Top 4 MWP – Municipal level): Murder
Rosete commended the efforts of the arresting PNP units, emphasizing that their work not only brought justice to victims and their families but also strengthened public trust in the region’s law enforcers.
“These efforts aligned with the directive of PNP Chief Gen. Rommel Francisco Marbil to intensify the campaign against high-value criminals and wanted individuals, thereby enhancing national security and fostering a safer environment for all Filipinos,” he said.
