FIFTY-SEVEN drug personalities were arrested and P1 million worth of illegal drugs were confiscated during a week-long operation from October 7 to 13, 2024, in Davao Region.
Police Regional Office XI chief Brig. Gen. Victor Rosete said they recorded 44 police operations, resulting in the arrest of 57 targets, during that period.
The arrests included the following high-value individuals: alias Loloy, the top four regional-level high-value individual (HVI), who was arrested in Mati City, Davao Oriental, on Oct. 10, 2024; alias Armand, a top five regional target; and alias Babo, a top six regional target—both arrested in a separate joint drug buy-bust operation in Digos City, Davao del Sur, on the same day.
These police operations also led to the arrest of street-level individuals and the confiscation of 145.7914 grams of methamphetamine hydrochloride (Shabu) and 33.16 grams of marijuana.
Rosete said the intensified campaign underscored PRO XI’s commitment to curbing drug proliferation in the region and enhancing public safety through strategic operations and collaboration with the community and stakeholders.
