MAJOR General Jose Maria R Cuerpo II, commander of the 4th Infantry (Diamond) Division, commended the Joint Task Force Diamond (JTFD) for its significant achievements in neutralizing 45 rebel members and confiscating 52 firearms from April to June 2024.
Cuerpo met with key leaders and commanders during the second quarter of 2024 at the Campaign Progress Review and Assessment (CPRA) and Command Conference held on July 12.
The 4ID General Staff and brigade commanders from the 401st, 402nd, 403rd, and 901st infantry brigades gave their accomplishment reports, detailing operational successes from April to June 2024.
Notable achievements included the neutralization of 45 CPP-NPA terrorists (CNTs) and the seizure of 52 firearms in encounters with the North Eastern Mindanao and North Central Mindanao Regional Committees.
Cuerpo underscored the pivotal role of unwavering leadership in achieving these successes, emphasizing the importance of upholding leadership ethos throughout all missions.
He said, “I am immensely proud of the credibility and strength displayed by the members and team leaders of the Joint Task Force Diamond. Their dedication and professionalism are vital to our continued success and service to the nation. Commanders must lead with dignity and conclude with pride, never settling for less.”
