403rd Brigade commander takes helm of 4th Infantry Division

BRIGADIER General Michele Anayron Jr., current commander of the 403rd Infantry Brigade, has been appointed as the new commander of the 4th Infantry Division, effective January 20, 2025. 

The order obtained by TIMES was signed and approved by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. effective Jan. 20.

Brig Gen Anayron, assumed as 403rd Brigade Commander last January 23, 2023, during a change of command ceremony at Camp Osito Bahian, Malaybalay City. 

There is no schedule yet for the change of command ceremony. Currently, Brig Gen Consolito Yecla, the assistant division commander, is the acting commander of the 4th Infantry Division.

Anayron belongs to the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) ‘Tanglaw-Diwa’ class of 1992.  

Under Brigadier General Michelle B. Anayron Jr.’s command, the 403rd Brigade has upheld the highest standards of military excellence and conducted operations with unwavering commitment to the principles of peace, security, and integrity.

During the 2nd Monday convocation program held at the City Hall compound in Casisang, Malaybalay City, On April 8, 2024, the Pigbuligaan Multi-Sectoral Federation and the 403rd Infantry Brigade, under the leadership of Brigadier General Michele B. Anayron Jr., were honored with a resolution of commendation.

On March 22, 2024, during the 127th PA Day Anniversary at Headquarters Training and Doctrine Command, Camp O’Donnell, Capas Tarlac, the Pigbuligaan Multi-Sectoral Federation was awarded The Philippine Army People’s Organization Award. 

Anayron’s leadership was recognized for its exceptional dedication, courage, and professionalism in serving the people and defending the nation.

The commendation is fitting, as their exemplary leadership, strategic vision, and tireless efforts have significantly contributed to the brigade’s overall effectiveness and success in fulfilling its mission and responsibilities.

These commendations bring honor and distinction to the entire City of Malaybalay, serving as an inspiration to its residents.
