A CITY-LEVEL target and three others were arrested in separate buy-bust operations in Mintal and Barangay 27-C on Friday, June 7.
Captain Hazel Tuazon, Davao City Police Office (DCPO) spokesperson, said the first operation was conducted in Deca Homes, Mintal, at about 9:30 p.m. on Friday.
The Special Drug Enforcement Unit (SDET) of the Bajada Police Station (PS18), led by Major Marvin Hugos, launched the operation that resulted in the arrest of alias Madam, Roy, and Bert. Seized from them were three sachets of shabu worth P47,600.
Tuazon said Madam was considered a top-five city-level target.
The Bajada Police Station (PS18) is preparing a case of violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) and RA 10591 (Illegal possession of firearms) against the three suspects.
Earlier that day, a street-level individual was also arrested around 3:20 p.m. along Alvarez Street, Purok 5, Barangay 27-C.
Police identified him only as alias Dave, 27, student, and resident of Barangay 39-D. Seized from him was a sachet of shabu worth P3,468. The suspect is now under the custody of Sta. Ana Police Station.
