350 participants expected at 1st Hospitality and Tourism Experience Conference 

THREE-HUNDRED fifty students, business owners, and entrepreneurs will join the Davao Tourism Association’s 1st Hospitality and Tourism Experience Conference on Nov. 15 at the Acacia Hotel.

Kenny Mark Fresco of the Davao Tourism Association highlighted that the conference aims to address sustainability concerns and the effects of technological advancement in the hospitality and tourism industry.

The conference will consist of two parts, one for the Industry and one for the students with keynote speakers and resource speakers to be invited to provide information about the edge of technology in the industries as well as the current trends and demands.

One of the topics to be discussed is revenue management for students and business owners.

Fresco acknowledged the challenges of the hospitality and tourism industry such as what to expect after the COVID-19 pandemic and the adoption of advanced technology today.

“We’re gonna be sharing vital information about the evolution technically of the hospitality and tourism industry,” he said during the PEP Talks.

The 1st Hospitality and Tourism Experience Conference is a nationwide event with guests outside of Davao City to take part in the conference.
