A WAYWARD pick-up truck mowed two motorcycles and three pedestrians outside a laundry shop on Wednesday, Jan. 15, around 5:20 p.m. in Binugao, Toril District.
Initial investigation revealed that a Nissan pick-up truck, driven by alias Nick, 52, swerved from the highway and into the two parked motorcycles and the pedestrians standing outside a laundry shop and a 711 store.
The impact of the collision resulted in injuries to the three pedestrians, the driver and passengers of the pick-up truck, and significant damage to the motorcycles and the laundry shop.
All injured individuals were immediately transported to the Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) by responding 911 ambulances.
The driver was taken into custody by the Davao City Police Office for further investigation.
