A total of 22 various households, compounds, and street lockdowns have been implemented by the city government as of Tuesday.
Of the total, 17 are house lockdown, four compounds are isolated, while one entire street is closed.
Barangays 21-C, Sto. Niño, Talomo, Angliongto, Tacunan, Daliao, Ilang, and Baliok have one lockdown each. Barangay 23-C and Buhangin Proper have three lockdowns each, while barangays Leon Garcia, Bago Gallera, Catalunan Grande, and Cabantian have two lockdowns each.
Duterte said the move was recommended by the City Health Office (CHO), the agency that is in charge of the epidemiologist surveillance unit. She also said that the CHO is head of the contact tracing team for the moment.
The lockdown was implemented by the security group with the recommendation of the health experts headed by CHO.
