A 17-YEAR-OLD boy was found dead early Sunday morning, February 2, 2025, after being brutally beaten with a wooden plank outside a bar on Roman Diaz Street in Calinan District.
The victim, identified only as “Peter Paul,” a resident of Campo 3, Barangay Talomo River, sustained fatal injuries during the attack.
Two suspects, identified as Joselito, 32, a garbage collector, and Celino, 33, an ice drop vendor, both residents of Feria Street in Calinan, were arrested by the Calinan Police.
According to police investigation, an altercation occurred between the victim and Joselito.
The victim allegedly punched Joselito, who then retaliated with the help of Celino. They repeatedly struck the victim with a 2×2 wooden plank, killing him. The suspects are now in police custody facing a homicide charge.
