POLICE arrested a city-level drug target and another suspect in a buy-bust operation in Brgy 19-B, El Rio Vista, Phase 3, on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
The Bajada Police Station personnel also seized P320,000 worth of alleged shabu and a firearm from the suspects.
Captain Hazel Tuazon, Davao City Police Office (DCPO spokesperson, identified the Top 2 high-value individual as alias Baser, 42, who worked as a scaffolder. His companion was a 31-year-old farmer and a resident of Barangay Bulod, GKSP, Maguindanao where Baser also hailed from.
They yielded 20 grams of suspected shabu and a .45 caliber pistol.
The DCPO called on Davaoeños to support the government’s campaign against illegal drugs.
“Your active involvement not only amplifies our morale but also underscores our unwavering dedication to ensuring the safety and security of the city, with a paramount focus on safeguarding our children,” the police statement said.
