THE WEEK-LONG anti-criminality operations resulted in the arrest of 146 wanted persons from Nov. 1 to 9, 2024, the Police Regional Office XI reported.
Regional police director PBGen Leon Victor Z. Rosete said among those arrested were 22 individuals listed in the Top 10 Most Wanted Persons at the regional, provincial, municipal, or city level.
Among the notable arrests were Ludivico Meranez Ibanez and Rudilyn Siares Toroba, both considered among the region’s top fugitives for murder.
The arrest of these high-profile individuals underscores the effectiveness of inter-agency collaboration and the dedication of the police force to rid communities of threats,” he said.
Rosete commended the efforts and commitment of the operating PNP units, other law enforcement agencies, and the community for their support. Additionally, he vowed to maintain their momentum in combating crime and ensuring a safer environment for all citizens in the region.
