THE MUNICIPALITY of Kibawe in Bukidnon has been officially declared insurgency-free through Municipal Peace and Order Council (MPOC) and Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC) Resolution No. 08, Series of 2024, on Nov. 26.
This declaration marks Kibawe as the fifth town of Bukidnon, declared free from the threat and violence of the New People’s Army (NPA), following similar resolutions for San Fernando, Kadingilan, Damulog, and Dangcagan.
In celebration of this consecutive achievement, Major General Allan Hambala, commander of the 10th Infantry (Agila) Division, Philippine Army, commended the Agila Troopers for their tireless initiatives in gradually changing the peace landscape of Bukidnon.
“These declarations are a testament to the unwavering commitment and unity of our communities, local leaders, and security forces in achieving lasting peace. This victory is not just for the Agila Division but for every Filipino who dreams of a safer and more prosperous homeland. Together, we will continue to pave the way for progress and development, free from fear and violence.” Hambala said.
