10,000 pieces of fried chicken for cluster with lowest cases

Mayor Sara Duterte committed to giving 10,000 Jolly fried chickens to the cluster with the lowest number of COVID-19 cases through May 30.

“This will push people to also be aware of their other co-community people. They can check their people, and make sure that their place is safe from COVID-19. In this way, we can prevent the increase of cases in our city,” she said.

She said that the winning cluster with the lowest number of cases will be given the treat.

“Now you have to think of ways on how you can maintain the low number of cases in your areas for you to be given the free fried chickens from Jollibee,” she said.

As for the clusters which already have a large number of cases, she said they will be given free sodas if they can prevent the prevalence from further increasing.

“They have to work hard in order to win these prizes. This will push us to do good in safekeeping our areas from acquiring COVID-19,” she said.

Duterte said she will distribute the prizes to the winning clusters on May 31.
