The implementation of the law on rice tariffication must compel the government to adopt the single-window program on importation, said a top official of the office of Sen. Cynthia A. Villar, principal author of the law.
At the sidelines of the public consultation on the implementing rules and regulations (IRR) of Republic Act 11203 yesterday, lawyer Rhaegee B. Tamaña, said it is necessary for the government to implement the single-window program to ensure transparency.
